Got my first UO polishes the other day, they have some really cool colour selections. Left is Chilly, right is Mystic.
Mystic seems to be attempting a dupe of Deborah Lippmann’s Ray of Light. I used one coat over Revlon Royal, the manicure I coincidentally already had on that day. Mystic is a deep blue jelly with iridescent flakies in it. The formula was really nice and the result was pretty!
3 coats of Daring Digits’ Tourmaline over 1 coat of Decades of Dysfunction by Orly. Needed a base coat because Tourmaline is so sheer.
2 coats of Julianne by Julep. A dusty blue, I can’t stop wearing it and a significant amount of the bottle is gone!
Claire, Julianne, and Quick Dry Drops by Julep.
Julianne and the drops were add-ons for my February maven box. Julianne is a dusty blue grey named after actress Julianne Moore (whom I love!).
Claire was on sale for $5 during a Spring colour flash sale and I needed a bright blue so I picked her up :) Shown is 2 coats of Claire. No topcoat, just used a drop of the drying drops on each nail and it worked really well.
Decades of Dysfunction by Orly, 2 coats shown, plus top coat. This is one of my favourite neutrals ever and I’m so glad I came across it at Winners for super cheap! It’s a dusty light pink, almost cream colour.
From Claire’s Sugar High Collection!
The blue one has the same formula as their Candy Shop dupe but with a sheer blue base. 3 coats plus top coat shown. Didn’t have to fish for any glitter.
The green one has a subtle shimmer and is more large hex glitter heavy. It’s also brighter in person! 2 coats shown.
Claire’s Sugar High Collection! An assortment of mostly rainbow polishes. The white one is opalescent shards with holo glitter.
All the other ones are different types of rainbow glitter in different bases. A matte neon pink, a lilac creme, a sheer turquoise, and a lime green which I am very oddly drawn to? Strange.
Anyway, I picked the set up for $11.50 at Claire’s, mostly for the pink, blue and green polishes. I’ll probably give the clear one away.
My February Maven box! Polish colours are Laura and Ginger. Laura is a khaki creme, Ginger is a sand holographic. 2 coats are shown!
Also included in the box was Freedom Polymer Top Coat (which dries amazingly fast, forget SV this stuff is awesome), an eyelash curler, as well as an Oxygen nail treatment. I’m also waiting for Drying Drops and the colour Julianne as add-ons!
Ginger had a really good formula and had a really nice holo effect when under certain lights. I tried to capture it but it was difficult.
More Dots! by Daring Digits.
Sheer black base with multicolour circle glitter. 2 coats over black underwear.

Top Left to Right: I`m Not Edible, Polka Dots and Moonbeams, and Rockin Robin
Bottom Left to Right: Million Dollar Mermaid, Do The Mermaid, Mermaid`s Kiss, and Mermaid`s Eyes.
Excuse me while I cry because I`m going to be broke when these collections are released!
The top is the Staccato Collection and they`re all pastels with black glitters. They`re cute but I`m far more excited for the Mermaids Collection, first because Mermaid`s Dream is an amazing polish and these all have the same texture. Also, my obsession with mermaids. Also, how fantastic are the colours! I NEED NEED NEED Do The Mermaid and Mermaid`s Kiss.
Grabbed It`s A Trap-eze! the other day for $4 at Toronto Beauty Supply, wheee! Milky white base saturated with an assortment of glitters of various sizes and colours. This is only two coats and required slight dabbing as clumping did occur but it was still a pretty good formula. Dries quickly, which is great because I ran out of SV and I`m waiting for my new Julep topcoat to arrive in the mail! This is going to be a pain to remove but oh well, it looks adorable.
